"We unveiled it in August 2024," Howard said, and she added the artist mapped local flora into each design to reflect distinct village locations. Howard also told the commission that Simon Property Group had expressed interest in replicating the design in other markets. The presentation included a proposed first formal location (10023 Park Drive) and plans for plaques and QR codes to link visitors to more information. The commission asked about installation, anchoring and donor/vendor sourcing; Howard said the chairs are moveable by two people, that Visit Pleasant Prairie will oversee condition and placement, and that staff would finalize placement logistics.
