Darrington’s Town Council adopted Ordinance 804, approving the town’s 2026 budget at its Dec. 10, 2025 meeting. Gary Willis moved to approve the ordinance and Julie Ford seconded; the motion passed by unanimous voice vote and the mayor was authorized to sign the ordinance.
The vote came as part of the meeting’s consent of several new-business items. Council members present at roll call included Evan Craig, Julie Ford, Billie Burtenshaw, Reed Rankin, Gary Willis, Dan Rankin and Clerk-Treasurer Dianne Davis. The minutes record no amendments or recorded no dissent to the budget ordinance.
