Board conditionally accepts Creekside Crossing roadway improvements, approves cash deposit reduction

Village staff reported rehabilitation work on 66th Avenue, 64th Court and 92nd Place in the Creekside Crossing condominium development was completed to approved plans and inspected by village staff. Upon recording of the certified survey map and completion of the warranty period the roadways will be owned and maintained by the village; the board gave conditional acceptance.
Staff also recommended a cash-deposit reduction per the MOU: because total construction costs were less than the original cash deposit, $51,432.04 is to be returned to the Creekside Crossing Condominium Association, while $15,904.80 is to be retained for retainage and warranty work; the board approved the reduction. A resident and former association president, Ken Hariu, spoke at the microphone to thank village staff and to congratulate neighbors, concluding, “What a great village to live in.”
The board recorded appreciation for the homeowners association and staff coordination; final acceptance and transfer of maintenance responsibility will occur once the certified survey map is recorded, lien waivers are received and the warranty period is complete.
