At the start of the Feb. 12 meeting the Hartland Township Planning Commission completed its annual organizational business. Commissioner Mathew Eckman moved to approve the Planning Commission Rules and Procedures; Commissioner Mike Mitchell seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Jim Mayer moved to retain Commissioner Larry Fox as Chair, Mike Mitchell as Vice‑Chair and Commissioner Tom Murphy as Secretary; the motion carried unanimously. The commission also affirmed current committee appointments without change. These organizational actions set the commission's leadership and internal procedures for 2026.
