At the meeting the commission approved the bylaws — updated primarily to reflect new dates and a meeting calendar — after staff explained the draft was a carryover from last year. A motion to adopt the rules and procedures dated 02/12/2026 passed by voice vote. The commission then approved a motion to keep the current officers in place: Fox as chairperson, Mitchell as vice chair and Murphy as secretary.
Commissioners did not request substantive changes to the draft; staff said the bylaws summarize the commission's duties, committee structure and meeting procedures. The actions allow the commission to proceed with its calendar and committee appointments unchanged for 2026.
