The Lake Oswego School District board voted to authorize a $348,946 change order for Robinson Construction related to the Lake Oswego Bridal School project.
A district presenter told the board the change order covers "significant grading issues with the athletic field" and stormwater repairs, and that crews "encountered an underground oil tank" that required removal and handling of contaminated soils. The presenter said the district had negotiated the items with the contractor over several weeks and identified the total requested amount as $348,946.
A board member moved to "authorize the clerk or deputy clerk to approve Robinson's change order in the amount of $348,946," a second was received, and the board recorded a verbal roll of "ayes" before the motion carried. Chair Mayer then adjourned the contract review board and opened the regular board session at 6:05 p.m.
