Council approved a resolution authorizing the first amendment to the lease between the city and Swingers Golf Club LLC to expand the leased premises at 100 Seldendale Drive by about 14 acres to include a golf practice facility and language addressing maintenance and repairs to the parking lot. Staff told the council routine maintenance (trash removal, vegetation, minor upkeep) will be the club’s responsibility while the city would retain responsibility for major repairs as determined by the city.
Staff also said there will be no rent increase and the amendment was advertised as required by state code because additional city property is included in the lease. The council voted to approve the amendment.
