South Bend earns RMSA risk-management award; department heads offer no new reports

The chair announced that the City of South Bend received an RMSA Risk Management Achievement Award and was recognized as the 2025 Claims Improvement Champion for improved claims history, engagement in risk management, contract reviews and training completion.
"When I was at the RMSA dinner, the city of South Bend received an award," the chair said, congratulating staff for training and claims improvements. Department heads gave brief status updates; Police Chief Stegall and Clerk Treasurer Johnson reported no items, and Chief McGee was excused.
With no further department business and no public comments on current agenda items, the chair called roll for council comments and adjourned the meeting.
