County approves two alcohol licenses for Friends of Jackson County Conservation and Bluff Lake

The Jackson County Board of Supervisors approved two liquor licenses on July 14. The Board granted a Class B Retail Native Wine License to Friends of Jackson County Conservation for premises at 18670 63rd St, Maquoketa, effective July 25, 2026 through July 24, 2027. Motion carried unanimously.
The Board also approved a Class C Retail Alcohol License with outdoor service for Linda S Wells doing business as Bluff Lake at 9369 95th Ave, Maquoketa, effective July 17, 2026 through July 16, 2027. Both approvals were recorded without recorded opposition; motions were made and seconded by supervisors and each vote was aye by Supervisors Schwenker, Steines and Flagel.
