Committee members discussed creating a centralized online hub to list partner resources, registries and contacts so residents can find programs without confusion. Chair Edmond Ford Jr. asked committee staff to work on a centralized location on the county commission website and said Commissioner Thornton had acquired a domain to that end.
Amy Schafflin of United Housing suggested home901.org — used previously for emergency rental-assistance outreach — as a familiar option for housing resources. "Home901.org was used during the emergency rental assistance time," Schafflin said. The chair asked members to bring suggested existing websites and URLs to the November meeting so staff can begin compiling materials for a centralized resource registry.
