Bond would replace two oldest elementary schools and add STEM/CTE space at high schools, district says

District project staff said the bond would replace Lake Grove and Forest Hills elementary schools, add STEM/CTE space at both high schools and provide a new community transition program space for adult learners with developmental delays.
Tony, the district's executive director of project management, described the project priorities that would be funded if the bond passes: replacement of the district's two oldest elementary schools (Lake Grove and Forest Hills), additions to both high schools for STEM/CTE programming, a Palisades addition to support world-language programming and a new community transition program facility for adult learners with developmental delays.
Tony said the projects are planned in sequence to follow design and permitting timelines and to move students into replacement schools when ready. He noted the district has already replaced River Grove and Lakeridge Middle School and is currently building Lake Oswego Middle School. The district emphasized that design work for at least one elementary school is already under way.
