The council adopted its consent agenda by unanimous roll call. Items included acceptance of a gift of furniture, fixtures and equipment from NP Hampton Commerce Center to support workforce initiatives; reaffirmation of solid-waste charges and fees previously set; repeal of a superseded code section; and amendments to the FY25 budget including a $5,000 appropriation from the wetlands-encroachment restricted fund to community development and acceptance and appropriation of $1,400,000 in state and federal public-assistance revenues to human services.
The clerk read the items and council moved/seconded the consent agenda. The roll-call vote recorded ayes from all council members present; the council also approved minutes from two prior meetings as part of the motion.
