Council dissolves Peninsula Stadium Authority, establishes War Memorial Stadium advisory board; member recusal noted

Council approved two resolutions to change governance over War Memorial Stadium: dissolving the Peninsula Stadium Authority and establishing a War Memorial Stadium advisory board. Councilwoman Mugler announced she would not participate in discussion or votes on the items due to a conflict of interest under the Virginia Conflict of Interest Act; she said her spouse is engaged as a paid consultant to a stadium tenant.
