Council Adopts Old Fort Community Reinvestment Plan (Ordinance 2025-08)

South Weber City Council adopted Ordinance 2025-08 to designate the Old Fort Community Reinvestment Area and adopt the RDA’s Community Reinvestment Plan.
According to the RDA, the Old Fort plan is intended to support development of recreational vehicle sales and storage facilities. Participating taxing entities previously entered into agreements to distribute portions of tax increment to the project. The RDA approved the plan and submitted it to the Council for formal adoption.
Councilwoman Angie Petty moved to approve Ordinance 2025-08 and Councilman Blair Halverson seconded. The Mayor called for a roll-call vote; Council Members Jeremy Davis, Joel Dills, Blair Halverson, Angie Petty, and Wayne Winsor voted aye and the ordinance passed.
