The Cheatham County Legislative Body authorized the County Mayor to sign several administrative contracts during the June 29 meeting. The motions, each approved by roll call (12-0), authorized the Mayor's signature on: (A) a Beacon Technologies fire alarm monitoring agreement; (B) a Subway lease modification extending the lease term and establishing stepped annual rent through 2040; (C) a Clarke Power Services preventative maintenance agreement for generators; and (D) a Motorola contract to purchase emergency radios for EMS, EMA and the Sheriff's Department.
Documents attached to the minutes include the Beacon Technologies monitoring proposal (monthly monitoring $50), a multi-year Subway lease modification with specific annual rent schedule, Clarke Power Services preventive maintenance scope and rates, and a Motorola procurement referenced in the motion. County representatives signed the recorded resolutions authorizing the Mayor to execute these agreements.
Each contract approval was recorded as a separate resolution with unanimous roll-call approval. The commission did not record contested debate on these items in the minutes.
