Alina Harris, the city’s neighborhood and volunteer coordinator, told the Grand Prairie City Council that DynoFest 2026 drew strong community support and volunteer participation.
“We had over 1,300 volunteers participating,” Harris said, thanking sponsors, churches, schools and city departments that helped with planning and execution. She said the event relies entirely on sponsorship and asked attendees to “please save the date for 04/10/2027.”
Harris outlined organizers’ goals for 2027 — including increasing volunteer numbers and collecting as much trash as possible to keep the city clean — and praised partnerships with local organizations. Council members responded with thanks to volunteers and singled out several residents and staff for special recognition.
