Central makerspace enforces 13+ rule, waivers and machine training

Ransom said some tools are available for walk‑in use while higher‑risk machines require certification; staff keep a central worksheet to track certifications and waivers by patron so any location can verify authorizations. The board asked clarifying questions about family maker events and whether younger children might be accommodated in supervised programs; staff said family events and occasional youth‑focused sessions are offered under supervision.
