Clerk staff reported there were no registered speakers in the courtroom or online during the BOCC's opportunity for public comment at the FY26 budget presentation. The board therefore did not hear in‑person public testimony at this session.
Staff reminded the public that the staff‑recommended budget is available on the county website and in county libraries and that written comments may be submitted to the finance department via email. To gather additional input, Mr. Cox moved "that we leave the record open through close of business on 04/11/2025," the motion was seconded, and the board voted to carry it. The BOCC also set a public hearing on the recommended budget for Tuesday, April 29 at 7 p.m.
