Town engineer: Beacon Communities seeks phases 3–4 on Security Drive; sewer analysis underway

Lawrence Baril, Avon town engineer, briefed the Authority on a Beacon Communities development on Security Drive. Baril said phases 1 and 2 were approved and that the developer has now submitted plans for phases 3 and 4, proposing two new apartment buildings.
Baril said he received a proposal from consulting firm Fuss & O'Neill for a sewer analysis study and that Beacon reportedly sent a check to cover the analysis. He estimated the sewer analysis would take several months and said he might be able to provide an update by the October meeting. No formal vote or action was taken at the July meeting.
