Council asks staff for community‑service review, lawn‑care program, audits of city property and other follow-ups

Councilmember Dutton asked that a community service committee examine relations with the county commissioner and Parkland and requested a lawn‑care assistance program coordinated with code compliance. She also asked for an audit or inventory of city- and foundation-owned land and buildings to identify underused or forgotten properties. Staff said they could provide an inventory and suggested committee placement as appropriate.
Councilmembers also asked for an audit or review of the number of streetlights struck by incidents and whether insurance recoveries have been effective, and requested staff circulate the adopted Trails Master Plan and related crash‑data chapters. The meeting adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
