Fire chiefs present 2017–2018 proposed budgets to Board of Selectmen

On Jan. 17 the fire leadership presented the commission-approved 2017–2018 proposed Fire Department budgets to the Board of Selectmen and Administrative Officer; the Fire Marshal’s Office budget was presented with no response recorded.
Deputy Chief Morra, Assistant Chief Rexroad, Lt. John Roback, Fire Marshal Raymond Walker and Chief Dixon presented the Fire Commission-approved 2017–2018 proposed budgets to the Board of Selectmen and the Administrative Officer on Jan. 17, 2017, the minutes state. The commission had approved those budgets in December 2016 before the presentation.
The minutes note that the Fire Marshal’s Office FY2017–2018 budget was also presented to the Selectmen with no specific responses recorded in the minutes. No formal budget vote or Selectmen action is recorded in the Jan. 23 commission minutes.
