Board authorizes advance issuance of payments to cover fixed charges and payroll

The motion was made by Member Christian Goodman, seconded by Vice Chair Carol Hibbs, and carried 3-0.
The resolution requires that bills paid under these provisions be submitted to the Board for review following payment. Auditor/Recorder Nan Benson was identified in the minutes as the official responsible for processing such payments, and the resolution was described in the minutes as intended to "ensure a smooth transition from the current fiscal year to the next."
