Commission appoints East Garland Cemetery board members and issues appreciation to Boys & Girls Club

The County Clerk's Office presented four applicants for three vacancies on the East Garland Cemetery Board. Commissioner Lee Perry moved to appoint Cory Ballard, Colleen Shaffer and Larry Hess as voting members and to appoint Dave Shaffer as a non‑voting member; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Bingham and approved unanimously.
Separately, the Commission approved a letter of appreciation to the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Utah. Commissioner Perry highlighted the group's role in the Box Elder Community Campus and its services to children, families and nonprofit partners. The signed letter will be provided to the organization shortly.
