The Board approved renewal of the Interlocal Agreement for Kalkaska County's designated assessor with Clifford (Joe) Porterfield and authorized the Chair to sign the agreement as approved by counsel (motion by Commissioner David Comai).
Later in the meeting, the Board voted to appoint County Clerk Deborah Hill to the Zoning Board of Appeals for the vacant term running Jan. 1, 2024 through Dec. 21, 2026 (motion by Commissioner Robert Baldwin; supported by Commissioner Scott Matley). The appointment carried with five yeas and two absences.
