MSU Extension Director Jen Berkey presented the 2024–25 Annual MSUE Report, outlining a 125‑year history of MSU land‑grant services and the county's participation in programs including 4‑H, Snap‑Ed, soccer and archery. Berkey thanked volunteers and noted the Extension's role in product distribution and community projects.
Berkey also warned that some programs have been affected by state or federal funding changes and encouraged continued local support; she said Kalkaska County was identified as a prospect for population and business growth. No formal action was taken; the presentation was received by the committee.
