County Administrator/CFO Patrick Whiteford told commissioners the Annex property has been cleared and Phase 2 environmental testing will be completed; closing on the Annex sale is scheduled for the following week. Realtor Bonnie Garrett updated the board that the sale of the Recycle parcel could require the buyer to pay for additional testing after Phase 2 and that title work signatures will be handled by the chair and county administration.
Whiteford recommended keeping the Recycle Center property on the market for six months for continued review and discussed potential splits of the Recycle properties. The board also discussed returning ARPA/County Wide Improvement funds to projects for which they were intended; no specific dollar reallocations were approved at the meeting.
