The Williamstown Cemetery Commission approved minutes from its June 19, 2025 meeting and reviewed a budget status report at its July 24, 2025 meeting at the Town Office. Matt Walker moved to accept the minutes as written and Daphne Herwig seconded the motion.
Commissioners reviewed warrants dated July 22, 2025 that together list payments for burial and maintenance services (Hill House Estates invoices, Snapping Turtle Treeworks, Centec Cast Metal and others) with a reported total of $9,442.00. Susan Lyons presented income figures showing $890.00 in the previous year (two burials) and $500.00 for the current year (one burial), for combined receipts of $1,300.00.
Susan Lyons said she had prepared the budget papers and supporting invoices for the Trustees of Public Funds. "I have included two Budget Status Reports," she told the commission. The meeting record does not show any roll-call vote on the warrants beyond the review and the approved motion to accept the minutes.
The commission scheduled its next meeting for August 28, 2025.
