The Board approved a slate of advisory-board appointments during other business on Oct. 20. Commissioner (speaker) read the recommendations and the Board approved them by voice vote.
The Board appointed Demetrio John to fill a seat formerly held by Austin Wheeler (term to expire 01/31/2027, term start Oct. 2025); Rose Cornelius to fill a seat formerly held by Michelle Edelen (term to expire 08/20/2028); Emma Williams, Carlton Matthews and Charlissa Williams were each appointed to five‑year terms starting Oct. 20, 2025, and expiring Oct. 19, 2030. The Board also confirmed two appointments to a municipal planning board: Antonio Perez (term start 08/04/2025; term end 06/30/2027) and Stephanie Jenkins (term start 08/04/2025; term end 06/30/2028).
The chair called for the ayes on a motion to consider and approve the appointments and the motions carried by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
