Commissioner Bingham and Commissioner Perry supported appointing Corey Ballard, Larry Hess and Colleen Schafer as the voting members and naming Dave Schafer a non‑voting alternate/possible secretary. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Commissioner Perry also proposed sending a formal letter of appreciation to the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Utah for its community resource center in Brigham City, which he said supports a number of local nonprofits including the county’s women’s shelter. The commission approved the appreciation letter by motion.
