The Cass Soil & Water Conservation District board met on June 10, 2026, and approved a series of consent and project items, concluding business at 12:11 p.m. Chair David Peterson opened the meeting at 10:00 a.m. and the board adopted the agenda after SWCD Conservation Manager Dana Gutzmann requested the addition of 13 agenda items.
Among the actions recorded, the board approved the consent agenda (including minutes of May 13, 2026, and listed payment vouchers) and accepted written reports from NRCS and BWSR. The board approved a new drone and sUAS policy and authorized purchase of a DJI Mini 4 Pro RC‑N2. It also approved submission of an application for the Managing Invasives for a Resilient Landscape grant for up to $30,000 and moved ahead with contracting decisions for stormwater and design services. All motions noted in the minutes passed unanimously.
