Emergency management staff reports 58 EMR calls and multiple fires this week

Jerry Smith delivered the Emergency Management weekly report to the Comanche County Facilities Authority at its March 23 meeting in Director Clint Langford's absence.
"There were fifty-eight (58) EMR's, seventeen (17) outside fires, one (1) structure fire, one (1) vehicle fire, two (2) service calls, one (1) gas leak, one (1) shooting, one (1) mutual aid, one (1) boat assist and five (5) fire alarms," Smith reported. He identified two purchase orders for emergency-management services: Cotton Electric Co-op ($148.59) and AT&T Mobility ($307.29).
The report was presented as a routine operational update; no new directives or emergency declarations were made during the meeting. The director's absence and the presentation by Smith were noted in the minutes.
