The Comanche County Board voted to convert certain county accounts from two-signature to one-signature accounts following a recommendation by the Oklahoma State Auditors. Commissioner Josh Powers moved that Chairman Johnny Owens and Corinne Owensby be named requisitioning officers for the affected accounts; the motion passed with John seconding and unanimous aye votes.
On the consent agenda the board also designated Corinne Owensby, from District 2, as a purchase-cardholder with a $10,000 limit (OSU county training completed) and authorized Ashley Taylor and Owensby to use the Board of County Commissioners' signature stamps for consent-agenda documents, excluding contracts and agreements. The minutes record these personnel and control changes but do not specify an implementation timetable beyond the effective date of March 30, 2026.
