Principals report athletics, fall festival and upcoming ACT scores at Turner board meeting

During the Oct. 13 meeting, the high school principal reported that district play for softball starts next week, cross-country has held several meets, TSA selections have been made, and FFA recently conducted Blue & Gold sales with opening and closing ceremonies scheduled. The high school report noted ACT scores should be available soon.
The elementary report recorded a freeze-dried candy fundraiser, the Fall Festival scheduled for Oct. 24 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the new gym (with tarps to be laid down), and Pumpkin Patch field trips on Oct. 31. The minutes also noted that communication between the school and families has improved.
