Summary
At its March 10, 2025 meeting the Turner Board of Education approved multiple personnel actions (including a 5th-grade hire and an extra-duty elementary principal assignment), several curriculum and program approvals for 2025–2026, and an interagency MOU with the Chickasaw Nation.
The Turner Board of Education met March 10, 2025, in the superintendent's office and approved a slate of routine and programmatic items for the 2025–2026 school year.
By motion the board approved hiring Chaney Seydler as a fifth-grade teacher and assigned Mrs. Pillow an extra-duty contract for the Elementary Principal position. The board also approved curricular and program items for next year, including a contract with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, FACS Basics for eighth-graders to receive high-school credit, and the Gifted and Talented Plan for 2025–2026.
The board approved an interagency Memorandum of Understanding with the Chickasaw Nation Early Childhood Program for FY 2026 and approved an amended extra-duty salary schedule and new project codes for the National Honor Society (code 873) and Speech (code 874). A motion to adjourn concluded the meeting.
