Planning board reviews floodplain resolution, building-permit report and ADU ordinance edits

At the April 21 meeting the board discussed several administrative items: an update to Flood Plain Management resolution 01-04, the building-permit report, Planning and Zoning bylaws and accessory dwelling unit (ADU) ordinance edits. Staff reported the county attorney will need to advise on final wording for the floodplain resolution.
The board reviewed the building-permit report (no enforcement votes recorded that evening) and tabled a proposed update to planning and zoning bylaws. Members agreed to add ADU changes discussed in the work session to the next agenda as a distinct line item and to clarify permitted and conditional uses in residential and commercial zones before sending recommendations to the County Commissioners.
