The Ozaukee County Natural Resources Committee voted unanimously April 3 to approve revisions to the Construction Site Erosion Control and Post-Construction Storm Water Management ordinance and forward the amendments to the County Board for final action.
Land & Water Management Director Vogeler said the department worked in coordination with Planning & Parks to update the ordinance; Planning & Parks Director Struck distributed a map illustrating the ordinance’s differing effects in urban versus non‑urban areas. The motion to approve the revisions was moved by Supervisor T. Matera and seconded by Supervisor K. Schoessow and passed with all five committee members recorded as voting yes.
The committee’s action is a referral to the County Board; the committee did not adopt the ordinance on final reading. County Board review and any required public procedures will determine whether the changes take effect.
