Council asks staff to compile project list; SEAGO urges SSP for design work

Mayor Johann Wallace closed the hearing by asking staff to compile the project ideas raised by residents and Councilmembers and to publish the list for additional public input. William Osborne advised the Town to consider SSP (State Special Projects) grants for early‑stage engineering and planning so that later CDBG applications can focus on construction and implementation.
"I want to take your information...we're gonna take everything that we wrote down and put it into a list and then we'll put that out and then ask for more input," Mayor Wallace said. Osborne confirmed SSP can fund design activities, helping towns prepare shovel‑ready projects for competitive implementation funding. Council agreed to collect ideas in the minutes and to schedule further public notices and hearings where formal selection or resolutions may occur.
