The motion to open Item B.1 was moved by Mayor Johann Wallace and seconded by Council member Christy Hirshberg; the same pair moved and seconded the motion to open Item B.2.
At the close of the session a motion to adjourn was made by Mayor Wallace, seconded by Council member Hirshberg, and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes include a certification by Town Clerk Brandye Thorpe and a later approval signature by Mayor Johann R. Wallace dated Feb. 12, 2026. No formal votes adopting zoning changes or ordinances were recorded in the minutes from the Jan. 29 work session.
Attendance and quorum: roll call listed Johann Wallace, Christy Hirshberg, Cynthia Butterworth, Nallely Arreola (online) and Geovona Thompson as present; Danielle Cardella and Debra Trate were listed as absent. Town Manager Suzanne Harvey, Town Clerk Brandye Thorpe and Town Attorney Thomas Benavidez were noted as non-voting or not voting in the minutes.
