Residents urge action on dangerous Circle K crosswalk after reported crash

Mayor Johann Wallace said the crosswalk has received attention from local TV stations KOLD and KGUN9 and that he hopes to meet with the Arizona Department of Transportation next week to discuss improvements. The council did not take immediate formal action at the meeting but acknowledged the public safety concerns and discussed next steps with staff.
