"Staff is supportive of this industrial use at this location," Planning Manager Kate Strickland said in presenting the application. Applicant Steve Carraway introduced himself and thanked the council for their time; no members of the public signed up to oppose the rezoning. Mayor Pro Tem Feltes moved to close the public hearing and approve the rezoning as recommended; the motion carried 6–0.
Staff said the rezoning would facilitate job‑oriented development in the Oak Hollow district and that the item proceeds through standard permitting and building‑permit reviews if the applicant advances the project.
