At the March 18 meeting the Salem Township Board approved a series of planning items subject to specified conditions, including updated deeds, death certificate for a deceased owner, removal of Highway Occupancy Permit language for township roads, and corrected signature nomenclature to reflect Kerry Jobe as chairman on one plan.
The board noted that several lots (including Totteridge Unit #3 Lots 21 and 22) predate current Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) standards and are legally nonconforming; approvals include required plan notes acknowledging nonconforming status. Supervisors stressed the Planning Commission makes recommendations but final authority rests with the Board of Supervisors.
