Bids for BID #COM-2150, the purchase and installation of digital interactive signage for the Cleveland County Courthouse/Office Building, were opened publicly by Keri Lyles. Two vendors submitted responses: Interactive Touchscreen Solutions, Inc., and MVIX. The board voted to accept the bids and postpone awarding the contract so Purchasing can tabulate and qualify the proposals and report back to the board.
Chairman Rod Cleveland instructed the Purchasing Department to prepare a tabulation and qualification report for presentation to the board at a later meeting. The minutes record that the board deferred the award decision rather than selecting a vendor at the May 27 meeting.
