Commission confirms probationary firefighter Peyton Roe to full-time position
Summary
Following a one-year probationary review, the Commission approved Peyton Roe's promotion to full-time firefighter with the Anaconda Fire Department; the recommendation came from Fire Chief Cody Tocher and the vote was unanimous.
Fire Chief Cody Tocher recommended the Commission confirm Peyton Roe’s transition from probationary firefighter to full-time firefighter after a one-year probationary period during which Tocher said Roe demonstrated professionalism, reliability and readiness to serve.
Tocher praised Roe's performance in emergency response and training and noted his family’s history in the fire service. CEO Bill Everett and County Attorney Morgan Smith offered brief congratulations. The Commission voted to approve the promotion by unanimous vote.
The promotion is effective immediately and the department will continue standard onboarding and assignment processes for full-time firefighters.
