Resident says now is 'inappropriate' time for tax hikes as county hears budget

Chairman Tim Taylot recorded the hearing and reminded the public of procedural limits; no tax-rate decisions were made at the April 6 hearing, and the board expects to consider proposals at an April 14, 2026 meeting.
