Communications manager unveils citizen working-groups page, urges quick survey edits

Abby Fenton, the city’s communications manager, introduced a new citizen working-groups landing page and said applications will go directly to staff for screening. "We essentially created a landing page for that that explains what citizen working groups are, what they'll be doing, and it has a form for residents to apply," Fenton said.
Fenton said the communications team will promote the application via city social channels and the newsletter and that the department is prepared to support commissioners in public outreach. She also briefed the commission on the ETC community survey timeline, saying the vendor asked the city to send materials in the first week of November to achieve results by February; she recommended commissioners decide on any survey edits that night to meet that schedule.
