The Selectboard approved several low-cost technology and facilities updates to support meetings and operations.
Member Cary Sandvig will circulate a laptop quote for the meeting room and was authorized by the board to approve a purchase not to exceed $3,000. The Salt Shed camera installation is expected the week of Dec. 9, 2024. Chair Peter Brzozowy has contacted an electrician to repair exterior and some inoperable interior lights at the Town Office; Martin Jensen indicated interest in tree‑trimming near the office. Regarding use of the Town Zoom account, the board agreed to offer the Town Office and its audiovisual equipment to civic groups but decided not to share the Town’s private Zoom account.
These steps are intended to improve meeting technology and site security with limited one-time expenditures; the laptop authorization sets an explicit $3,000 cap for procurement approval.
