City staff opened bids on April 23. The low responsive bid reported in the bid opening was LT Companies with a base bid of $284,500 and an alternate of $(1,500), yielding a total $283,000. Other bids ranged from Gil Haugan Construction at $318,290 (with alternate) to Tarkett Sports Construction at $518,260. The council’s action directs staff to proceed with contracting with LT Companies for construction of the courts.
The project award was part of the May 4 meeting; further contract finalization and scheduling will follow the city’s procurement process and any required pre-construction meetings.
