The Page County Planning Commission took several procedural and land-use actions on May 12. The commission adopted the meeting agenda (5-0) and approved the April 28 minutes as amended (5-0). It unanimously approved a special-use permit for Cody Hoke's auto repair facility with a fence-screening condition (5-0) and voted unanimously to send Jon Copper's Flourish Real Estate banquet/event SUP to a public hearing on June 9, 2026 (5-0).
The commission did not vote on the Shenandoah Speedway amendment; staff will ask the applicant whether he will provide an updated noise study and will consult the County Administrator and County Attorney about enforcement and next steps. The Comprehensive Plan subcommittee will meet again May 21 to continue integration work on goals and Volume II materials.
