Commissioners approve fiber installations, set road‑repair conditions for solar project and award pipe quote

Highway Superintendent John Pluimer asked for permission to allow fiber installation by Associates along several county roads (not within Montpelier) and by Frontier on 500 S; both motions passed 3–0. Pluimer also said the county and Blackford Solar agreed to a plan requiring the company to fix road damage before the first week of December, or else the company will be barred from working on that road or project.
Pluimer presented two quotes to replace cross pipe structure #91: Debco quoted $16,912.50 and CivilCon $19,235. Commissioners accepted the Debco quote on a motion by Borgenheimer and second by Coons; the vote was 3–0. Pluimer also recorded Bridge #14 repair cost at $4,500 paid to Hoosier Pride.
