CARE Board: FY26 CSBG contracts in place; spending reported on schedule

The Campbell County CARE Board reviewed financial reports for FY26 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), County 1% human services funds, TANF-CPI quarterly contracts and Problematic Gambling funds during its April 16 meeting. Linda Allred presented Tyler financial reports and told the board that subrecipients are spending new grant funds at an expected pace.
Allred cited specific contract amounts for CSBG FY26: Council of Community Services: $93,600; Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation: $45,604; Personal Frontiers, Inc.: $45,713; and Gillette Reproductive Health: $34,664. She also reported FY26 quarterly contract amounts under TANF-CPI including Council of Community Services: $26,575.75; CLIMB WY: $17,505.75; YES House: $39,212.75; and Personal Frontiers, Inc.: $11,705.75. The board recorded that $5,537.72 has been expended from the Problematic Gambling fund.
Board members voted to accept the financial reports as presented. The approval signals that contract spend-downs and budget activity for these programs are proceeding as the board anticipated and that staff will continue routine reporting to the board and to state contacts.
